Golestan Palace

One of my latest renders from an old personal project the “Karimkhany Privacy” was printed in Ballistic Publishing`s 2011 book Expose 9.

Short description about the area and shot:
Karimkhany is an important part of a complex which was made by Iranian King KarimKhan Zand in 1794 when he chose Tehran county as the center of his realm. Tehran became the capital of Iran later.
The first Iranian realist painter Kamal-ol-Molk (Mohammad Qaffari) painted a nice shot of this area in 19th century. As I`m a serious fan of his paintings then started to make the whole area in 3d, but used another shot for Rendering. I wish to render the main shot painted by Kamal-ol-Molk very soon.
